Introduction
While studying at Changemaker Educations, I was invited by a classmate, Denise Swartling, to join a team alongside two other peers. Denise’s brother, Peder Swartling, co-founder of Inconsu, approached us to help them visualize a product concept for potential investors.

Inconsu had a strong business idea but needed a clear design direction to showcase how the platform could optimize the experience for three key audiences:

-
Travel companies
-
Travelers
-
Local excursion providers
Process
We were given creative freedom, with regular stand-ups to check in on progress. We kicked off with deep research into how each target group communicates and what they expect from a travel platform.
Using Miro, we mapped out the user flow, focusing primarily on the traveler journey while ensuring the design would serve all three groups.

Key features
We created a concept for travelers booking trips to South Africa with S.A. Travel:
-
A secure sign-in + onboarding flow
-
Personalized recommendations using AI (detecting solo travelers, groups, couples, etc.)
-
A seamless booking and payment process
-
Essential info on excursions (pricing, ratings, and direct contact with providers)
Design
We wanted our design to feel calm and professional, balancing trust with inspiration:
-
A white background to highlight high-quality visuals
-
Blue accents for buttons and CTAs
-
Expandable content sections, allowing users to control the information depth
-
Visual storytelling to encourage exploration

Outcome
At the final presentation, stakeholders from both Inconsu and a partnering agency were highly satisfied with the prototype and pitch deck.
A few weeks later, we learned that our work helped Inconsu secure investor funding!
That success was a proud moment for our team!
